I started working in design in 2003 in my second year in university. I studied Computer Science but was fascinated with design from high school.
In 2004 I became a creative associate and co-owner at a branding, design and strategic consultancy agency which started small but grew into a larger organisation with offices in Amsterdam and NYC. In 2010 I started working 100% remotely and joined great companies along the way including Poken (leader in touch-based event management using NFC technology) and ExpressVPN (leader in the consumer VPN space).
At ExpressVPN I helped create their first design system and developed the new vision of the ExpressVPN products for Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Linux, browser extensions, TV and Router app.
I have two adopted dogs that make sure I get fresh air daily regardless of if it's sunny, rainy, foggy, muddy or snowy outside. Besides that, I love to travel and I have visited 32 countries. My last new country visited was Portugal 🇵🇹
Outside work, pets and travel I like racing cars either on track or on gravel. Hope one day OpenBB will have a sticker on a car in Formula 1 🏎🦋
